Dogs welcome at the campsite

Camping with the whole family? Then you won't leave the dog at home, will you? At Camping du Lac, friendly dogs are very welcome, provided they are vaccinated and kept on a leash. Maximum 2 dogs per camping pitch.

There are plenty of places with trees where your dog can lie in the shade. You can enjoy excellent walks with your dog here, and they are allowed to run free in most places. Our own dogs, Bo and Puk (a Malinois and a Border Collie), are also often on the campsite.

Walking or swimming

There are plenty of opportunities around the campsite to walk the dog. Dogs are not allowed on the beach itself, but they are allowed everywhere else and can also go into the water.

By keeping the dog on a leash at the campsite, it remains fun for everyone and we prevent other guests from being bothered by your faithful four-legged friend. Thank you for your cooperation!

Although sheep nets are a solution to keep the dogs on the pitch, we prefer not to have them all over the campsite. Therefore, please mention this when making your reservation, so we can take it into account.

  • Dog-friendly campsite

Not specifically a dog-friendly campsite

Although Camping du Lac is not specifically a dog-friendly campsite, the area is ideal for a holiday in France with a dog. Especially if your dog likes walking, water and forests! There is also an agility field for the four-legged friends.

If necessary, there are several vets nearby; our own vet is in Eymoutiers, 12 km away. For dog food and other supplies, you can visit the Chabretou shop in Bujaleuf.

Please note that France has strict legislation for guard and fighting dogs. This type of dog is often not allowed and therefore not on the campsite either. If in doubt, consult your vet.
