CAMPSITE

Small campsite at Lac de Ste. Hélène

Small, friendly campsite on Lake Saint-Hélène, 400 km south of Paris, owned by Dutch people. You can go for walks straight from the campsite and rent paddleboards or pedalos at the reception. The beach with a playground and restaurant is just a short walk away.

The pitches are on terraces, so it's peaceful and with a view. You can order fresh bread in the morning. The sanitary facilities aren't brand new but are spacious and spotless, cleaned several times a day. Open from May 24th to October 1st, 2025.

BENEFITS

5 benefits of campsite du lac

  • terrace layout for an unobstructed view of every pitch
  • Beautiful location on a lake with a recreational beach
  • Free use of washing machine, dryer and freezer

The terraces allow for plenty of space even when the camp site is extra busy, with no tent or caravan in front of you to obstruct your view.

Lac St Hélène where the campsite is located is not technically a lake but part of the River Maulde that has become wider as a result of a barrage further upstream. This means that the “lake” is constantly being refreshed, with the result that the swimming water is always of an excellent quality and blue-green algae not given a chance.

Although a 2-star campsite, many facilities are included in the price. Such as free use of the freezer, free use of washing machines and dryer in the laundry and free WIFI for our guests.

10% reduction on the package for 2 people in lowseason 2025 for holders of CKE or ACSI Campingcard.
