About the route

The hiking route starts at the edge of Lac de Vassiviere. With a return trip (short interruption of the route, see map) to the stacked stones and a view over the lake.

You walk through the village of Beaumont du Lac and the last part is on the walking path along the shore of the lake. It is used a lot in the summer.

Upon return, fancy a dip at the beach? Or enjoy the view from the raised terrace of brasserie l'Escale on the lake.
