Sauna Bujaleuf is the perfect place to relax in a natural way. It's located at Camping du Lac de Bujaleuf, only 35 kilometers from Limoges. Here you can experience an authentic Lithuanian sauna ceremony, a deep cleansing ritual that uses natural whisks made from local trees. A sauna master will guide you on a sensory journey that purifies, energizes, and refreshes body and mind with the use of natural elements.

Expect things like gentle plant massages, and natural scrubs and masks. This unique experience is based on ancient traditions and is open to both men and women. Get ready to be amazed! In addition to the sauna, there are also warm showers, a cold nature shower, and a tent set up as a serene relaxation space. At the self-service bar, there is always free water, tea, and fruit available for you. If you would like to eat before or after the sauna, you can make use of the daily menus, which are available in the evening and can be pre-ordered by placing a comment when you make your reservation.

Experience the authentic Lithuanian Sauna Ceremony, a profound cleansing ritual using natural 'vanta's (bundles of twigs) gathered from local trees. A sauna master will guide you through a sensory journey that purifies, stimulates, and renews both body and mind. A unique experience derived from centuries-old traditions. Be surprised! This ceremony is designed to be suitable for both sauna enthusiasts and beginners.

Private Sauna €150 per group

Exclusive relaxation for you and your group. You can rent the entire sauna facility to enjoy the warmth and ambiance in complete privacy. Perfect for special occasions, family gatherings, or an intimate group of friends. We ensure the sauna is well-heated when you arrive. If you would like to hire a sauna master for a Lithuanian Sauna Ceremony, there is an additional charge of €100.

Sauna FAQ

We kindly ask our sauna guests to wear swimwear during each sauna visit. This ensures that every guest feels comfortable visiting the sauna.

The sauna offers comfortable space for 8 to 10 people. When you rent a private sauna, you can bring more people, but please keep in mind that not everyone will fit in the sauna at the same time. However, don't worry, there is also a serene relaxation area next to the sauna.

You are warmly welcome to experience this unique opportunity! The most convenient way is to join the Lithuanian Sauna Experience, where a sauna master will be present. This provides a gentle introduction to the sauna experience.

Click on "book now" and choose the date and sauna experience you want to participate in. We'll confirm your booking in 12 hours by e-mail. The balance can be paid in cash on site (unfortunately, we do not have a card machine).

Unfortunately we don't have a card machine. Payments are accepted in cash only.

We ask you to bring the following to the sauna:

  • Swimwear
  • Towel (you can also rent a towel set)
  • Bathrobe (you can also rent a bathrobe)
  • Slippers (if you want your own slippers, otherwise they are available for free)
  • Cash to settle the bill

Water, tea, and fruit are always available for free. For meals, you can join the daily menus offered by the campsite. Please note this option when making your reservation. View the daily menus here.

Children aged 8 and above are only allowed in the sauna when accompanied by an adult.

In addition to the sauna, there are also a serene relaxation tent, a tea bar, a cold outdoor shower, warm showers, a small terrace, and restrooms available.

At the campsite there is a solid 4G signal, but this is not as obvious here as in the UK. That is why a whatsapp message or email is more convenient in the first instance. Of course we can always call you back, no problem.

Terms and Conditions

Arrival
On the day of arrival your pitch is available from 14.00 pm. It is no problem to arrive at the campsite earlier, but the pitch will be available from 14 pm. The rental accommodations are also available from 14.00 hours due to cleaning.

Departure
On the day of departure, we would like the pitch to be available again from 11 am. for maintenance and for arriving guests. It is no problem to stay a little longer at the campsite, as long as the place is empty and available.

Payment
To make sure that your preferred location is available on arrival, you can book online. No extra costs will be charged for this. The down payment for a camping pitch is equal to the total cost of the booking with a maximum of €50. The down payment for a rental accommodation is equal to 50% of the total cost of the booking. After booking you will receive an email with the payment details and a link to transfer the down payment. The remaining amount will remain open until the end of your holiday, and can be paid at the reception upon departure by debit card, cash or check.

Cancellation
If canceled up to 14 days before the arrival date, we will refund the full deposit immediately. If you cancel 14 days or less before the arrival date, you will no longer be entitled to a refund of the deposit. If you do not show up on the reserved arrival date without notice, the reservation will automatically expire and no refund will be made.
