With various adjustments, we have made the campsite as Corona-proof as possible for a safe camping holiday in France. Last year it turned out that this is perfectly possible, and we are proud of the 5 certainties of Camping du Lac!

The general Covid-19 guidelines in France also apply to the campsite. We will greet you cheerfully, but will not give you hands or kisses. At the reception, everything has been moved outside and we also like to keep the social distance so that a mask is not really necessary.

Frequently asked questions (Corona related)

Do I have to make reservation, even for the low season?

No, it's not obligated. But by lowering the capacity of the campsite, fewer pitches are available. We are therefore happy to reserve a pitch for you. Without risk because you can cancel up to 8 days before arrival without costs.

Until when can I cancel my reservation?

In these uncertain times you want to be flexible in planning your holiday. That is why you can now cancel your stay up to 8 days in advance. Completely free of charge.

What about the deposit when booking during Corona times?

After sending your request, you will receive an email from us with a link to pay the down payment. For campers with their own camping equipment this is 25 euros, for the glamping tent 50% of the total amount.

Is there professional medical help available in Bujaleuf?

Yes, there is a doctor, home nurses and a pharmacy in Bujaleuf. These people speak English.

Large pitches
For the 2022 season, we have permanently reduced the capacity of 75 pitches to 60 pitches of approximately 125 m². This means there is extra space around the caravan, tent or camper.
Sanitairy building
The showers and toilets in the sanitary building are cleaned and disinfected regularly and several times in the morning and afternoon. We believe clean sanitary is a must, so we spend a lot of time and care on it.
Counter for arrivals etc.
The reception can no longer be entered, instead a counter / desk is placed in the doorway under the roof. Here you can arrange arrival / departure, (pin) payment and rental. A pump with disinfectant hand alcohol is placed on the counter.
Acces laverie room
Only one person at a time is allowed in the laverie room (washing machines / dryer), you can pick up the key for the door at the reception.
Soap dispensers
There are soap dispensers with disinfectant soap at various taps on the campsite.
Baguettes et croissants
Orders for the bakery can be placed through the website or Whatsapp of the campsite. These are brought to your tent / caravan at 9am every morning. You're welcome;)
Payment
The final payment on departure can be paid by pin (up to 50 euros contactless). Cash is therefore not necessary.
Sufficiant distance
Not all sinks are in use to maintain sufficient distance (in France a social distance of 1 meter applies).

At the campsite there is a solid 4G signal, but this is not as obvious here as in the UK. That is why a whatsapp message or email is more convenient in the first instance. Of course we can always call you back, no problem.

Terms and Conditions

Arrival
On the day of arrival your pitch is available from 14.00 pm. It is no problem to arrive at the campsite earlier, but the pitch will be available from 14 pm. The rental accommodations are also available from 14.00 hours due to cleaning.

Departure
On the day of departure, we would like the pitch to be available again from 11 am. for maintenance and for arriving guests. It is no problem to stay a little longer at the campsite, as long as the place is empty and available.

Payment
To make sure that your preferred location is available on arrival, you can book online. No extra costs will be charged for this. The down payment for a camping pitch is equal to the total cost of the booking with a maximum of €50. The down payment for a rental accommodation is equal to 50% of the total cost of the booking. After booking you will receive an email with the payment details and a link to transfer the down payment. The remaining amount will remain open until the end of your holiday, and can be paid at the reception upon departure by debit card, cash or check.

Cancellation
If canceled up to 14 days before the arrival date, we will refund the full deposit immediately. If you cancel 14 days or less before the arrival date, you will no longer be entitled to a refund of the deposit. If you do not show up on the reserved arrival date without notice, the reservation will automatically expire and no refund will be made.
