Dogs are welcome at Camping du Lac

Camping with the whole family, you won't leave the dog at home right? Friendly dogs are very welcome at Camping du Lac, if vaccinated and on a lead. There is a maximum of 2 dogs per pitch.

There are plenty of places with trees where your dog can relax in the shade. You can walk well with the dog here and in most places he / she can walk free. Our own dogs Bo and Puk (a Malinois and a Border Collie) are also often at the campsite.

WALKING

Walking or swimming with your dog

There is enough opportunity and space close to the campsite to walk the dog. Dogs are not allowed around the beach, but a little further on there are nice walking paths where dogs can walk loose and can enter the water.

Small children also stay on the property. By keeping the dog on a leash at the campsite, it remains fun for everyone and we prevent other guests being bothered. Thanks for your cooperation!

SPECIAL

Not a dogs-only campsite

Although Camping du Lac is not a special dog campsite, the area is perfect for a holiday with your dog in France. Certainly if your dog likes walking, water and forests! They are abundant here and from the entrance of the campsite 5 hiking trails start through the hills of the Haute Vienne.

If necessary, there are several veterinarians in the area, our own veterinarian is in Eymoutiers, 12 km away. For dog food and other supplies you can go to the store Chabretou in Bujaleuf.

Please note, France has strict legislation for guard and combat dogs. This type of dog is often not allowed and therefore also not welcome on the campsite. If in doubt, consult your veterinarian.

At the campsite there is a solid 4G signal, but this is not as obvious here as in the UK. That is why a whatsapp message or email is more convenient in the first instance. Of course we can always call you back, no problem.

Terms and Conditions

Arrival
On the day of arrival your pitch is available from 14.00 pm. It is no problem to arrive at the campsite earlier, but the pitch will be available from 14 pm. The rental accommodations are also available from 14.00 hours due to cleaning.

Departure
On the day of departure, we would like the pitch to be available again from 11 am. for maintenance and for arriving guests. It is no problem to stay a little longer at the campsite, as long as the place is empty and available.

Payment
To make sure that your preferred location is available on arrival, you can book online. No extra costs will be charged for this. The down payment for a camping pitch is equal to the total cost of the booking with a maximum of €50. The down payment for a rental accommodation is equal to 50% of the total cost of the booking. After booking you will receive an email with the payment details and a link to transfer the down payment. The remaining amount will remain open until the end of your holiday, and can be paid at the reception upon departure by debit card, cash or check.

Cancellation
If canceled up to 14 days before the arrival date, we will refund the full deposit immediately. If you cancel 14 days or less before the arrival date, you will no longer be entitled to a refund of the deposit. If you do not show up on the reserved arrival date without notice, the reservation will automatically expire and no refund will be made.
